Cyber threats are becoming increasingly sophisticated.
Businesses and organizations need NEW skills to deal with these new threats. There is a huge shortage of cybersecurity experts who can handle the new tools.
Swedish companies, authorities and organizations need new skills in cybersecurity:
- Protecting sensitive information: Businesses, governments and organizations often have sensitive information that they need to protect from cyberattacks.
- Protection of personal data: Companies and public authorities have an obligation to protect personal data under the GDPR.
- Critical infrastructure protection: Governments and organizations are responsible for protecting critical infrastructure, such as power grids and telecommunications, from cyber attacks.
- Minimize the risk of downtime: A cyber attack can lead to downtime and major financial losses.
- Maintaining trust: A data breach can damage a company’s or organization’s reputation and trust with customers and partners.
- Complying with legislation: Businesses and public authorities have a legal obligation to protect information. Cyberattacks can lead to fines and other sanctions.

COURSE CONTENT (80 YH credits, 16 weeks)
- Technical and Social Methods for Ethical Hacking, 20 YHp, 4 weeks
- Infringement Techniques and Tools, 30 YHp, 6 weeks
- Defensive Techniques, 30 YHp, 6 weeks
The course is held at a flexible distance to allow you to study while working.
All lectures are recorded, so if you miss one, you can always watch the lecture afterwards.
All the teachers you meet come straight from the world of work and bring with them the very latest knowledge.
PREREQUISITES:
High school diploma. If you don’t have your secondary school diploma, call your municipality. We also tend to accept academic qualifications as these should demonstrate that you have a high school diploma. If you do not have any formal qualifications, please contact the school info@my.se for further information.
You must have sufficient knowledge of Swedish to be able to benefit from the training and be able to work with the knowledge afterwards.
SPECIFIC PRIOR KNOWLEDGE:
You need to have at least 2 years of experience working in an IT department or equivalent.
