We have developed our iPhone and Android Developer program to include practical AI – Artificial Intelligence – from hands-on tasks and new exercises to CoreML and ML Kit for iOS and Android. The real power of AI systems will be seen in connected devices such as mobile phones, smartwatches, and solutions like Apple Vision Pro! You will become even more sought after in the job market!

The iPhone and Android Developer program gives you the skills you need, from cross-platform design to building efficient solutions in React Native and AI-assisted programming in Apple’s Swift/SwiftUI and Google’s Kotlin/Jetpack Compose. Plus, you’ll learn on-device AI development with CoreML and ML Kit for optimal security and privacy. And much more!

You will learn to build real apps that are in demand in the job market. The program lasts 1.5 years, with the final term spent in a workplace internship (LIA) and ending with a thesis project. The training is demanding and intensive, but those who put in the effort can be rewarded with highly attractive jobs in a wide range of exciting industries.

Our classrooms are located in Malmö. Classes are usually held twice a week, with various assignments to complete individually or in groups between sessions. All your instructors come directly from the industry and bring with them the latest production expertise.

ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS:

A completed upper secondary diploma with approved grades in Mathematics 2 a/b/c and Programming 1 – or equivalent knowledge gained through work experience or independent study. Malmö Yrkeshögskola covers the cost of a personal Apple developer license, a Google Play Store license, and most other expenses related to the program. However, you will need your own computer and mobile device. We recommend the following: a MacBook Air from 2020 or newer, or a MacBook Pro from 2018 or newer—ideally with at least 16 GB of RAM—as well as an iPhone 11 or newer (upgradeable to iOS 19) and/or a Pixel 6 or newer or another Android device (such as Samsung S22 or later) that can be updated to Android 16. Contact us if you are unsure. Malmö Yrkeshögskola has devices available for loan if you only have iOS but not Android, or vice versa, or if you want to try out different devices.
