Malmö Yrkeshögskola (Malmö Higher Vocational College) has been appointed for a new and advanced college program with focus on professional Content Production with AI support. This approval is valid until October 31, 2029.
The program provides in-depth knowledge of the latest tools for creating, processing, editing, commercializing, and publishing all forms of media – from AI-assisted print production to interface design for Apple VisionPro – and is complemented with topics such as rhetoric, accessibility, requirements, and entrepreneurial mindset for both the private and public sectors.
“This will be an outstanding opportunity for the labor market in Malmö and Skåne to recruit new employees who can immediately contribute at all levels within all forms of information, news, knowledge, advertising, and entertainment production,” says Claes Magnusson, vice-principal at Malmö Yrkeshögskola.
Since 2010, Malmö Yrkeshögskola has been offering programs for those who want to capitalize on new business opportunities arising from tech breakthroughs. Among the popular programs are Programmer for iPhone and Android, as well as recent courses about Modern Programming Languages, On-device Machine Learning, Digital Tourism, e-commerce for small stores, and Content Management.
”We are a school that has deliberately chosen to engage in areas we excel in and where we know we can make a positive impact,” says Claes Magnusson. ”We focus on benefiting the business community, society, and above all, our students and their future prospects.”
The first class of Content Producers will start in January 2025. The program is approved, free of charge, and eligible for student support – including the new transition and retraining support. More information and the opportunity to submit an application will soon be published on MY.SE
